cv joints

Just wondering how much it roughly costs to have new cv joints done on a 2000 vtr? cuz mines makin an occasional knock when turning a low speeds e.g. when parkin.

If you have the haynes manual, about £40 smileys/smiley17.gifMine needed a new cv joint when i bought it, an I just fitted it maself with the help of haynes. It isn't too much of a job if you're patient enough.

You sure its the CV joint and not the ball joint though?? The ball joints tend to go first and cause knocking when turning slow as you described. Maybe get it checked if you havn't already to save you doing an uneeded job, and wasting money.
