hi all! decided to make a progress thread as ive had the car around 5 month now and enjoyed every minute with it. Basically when i bought her it was a black totally standad vtr 2002 apart from the black s rims. body work was mint here she is:http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/k484/lukasvts/old31.jpg
First nice and easy mod was t-cut badges and also paint the brake calipers yellow.http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/k484/lukasvts/old3.jpghttp://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/k484/lukasvts/old32.jpg
Then another mod was the wheels, its always been in my head to purchase some citroen c2 vts rims as my brother did the exact same to his (carlos45). So i swapped my s rims and a bit of cash for these c2 rims powder coated like a grey colour also rapped in toyo proxes brand new along with getting her lowered by a good man rickyprpm approx 80mm rear and 60mm front:http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/k484/lukasvts/P1050238.jpghttp://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/k484/lukasvts/P1050236.jpghttp://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/k484/lukasvts/P1050243.jpg
i also got round to smoking my headlights which really sets the front end of the car off!http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/k484/lukasvts/P1050242.jpg
recently just grabbed a bargain off a good friend, 106 gti leather seats no rips or tears mint condition £130 plus my old seats really look good tbh:

http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/k484/lukasvts/P1050326.jpg
Engine wise ive never really got round to it money wise as recently there are a number of things which ive had to do to the car, these include:
Fully refurbed rear axle £330
front drop links fitted £60
all new discs and pads £120
oil filter + oil change Around £20
new rear hub £60 which i fitted
new windscreen £160.

Thats it really i dont know weather to bother on the vtr engine and just get a 16v conversion or keep the 8v and do stuff to that cams remap etc.
Anyway all advice welcome and thanks for taking a look at my progress.

Very nice - although I would say that as she's very similar looking to my Black VTS with C2 rims :y:

Are you running 40 or 45 profile Toyos ? And what's the clearance like at the rear inside the arch now she's slammed?

C2 rims look good? Why put vts badges on?

Mine are 40 profiles as the previous owner found they rubbed with the 45s - maybe there's a difference in the offset between the VTR and the VTS - although I don't think so.

Yours is lowered more than mine and looks really good :y:
