deserted island

i have been looking and reading up on the internet about moving to a deserted island and living of the land making own shelter. has any one else ever thought about doing this or looked into it or even be interested?

no you wouldnt buy it there are loads a islands out there tht nobody owns so you can actually legal move on tot the island and if any one does end up buying it you can still carry on living there aslong as your there before its owned

fresh water isnt a problem you can turn sea water into fresh drinking water. i kno this cause i have been looking up at it and seeing what other people have one and are doing

also you wouldnt need to make a living you would be hunting/catching all the food you need theres also fruits you can pick, so you money wouldnt b a problem at all

How would you know there is an adequate and constant supply of food though? Also what about mates and family? No TV, internet etc, I couldn't cope lol!

On such a small island, that no one owns it... Im sure almost they all are tho, food would be impossible to come by. If you had the land, you'd have to start your own farm, for the very basic essentials. What about bread?

Electricity? Heating?

Basically you are willing to move out of a built up country, to nothing and live like a slightly up-market cave man.

this is something i would actually love to do, obvs couldnt do it forever, especially now ive got a bambino just weeks away. but for 6 months or so, something like shipwrecked before they went all gay and fucked it up..... or better still actually totally cut off unlike they are.....

if you have no experience in outdoor survival and think you can go and be bear grylls on a desert island because of some stuff youve read, then good luck. youre going to die though
