got a problem, need some advice. please!!

Hi.

Im selling ma saxo vtr and i have got 2 ppl comin to view it. now for the problem. one guy (graham) was coming to see the car on wednesday, which is fine. but another guy (Gary) who was comin on Friday has just told me he wants to come on Wednesday as well. So he is now coming at 6pm and graham is comin at 7-8pm.

gary said he is bringin cash with him, so do u think i should phone graham and tell him that the other dude is comin earlier and with the cash?

I dunno wat to do.

i'd wait & see mate, he could turn up with the cash but then decide he doesn't want it. if you've told the other bloke not to turn up you'll then be back to square one.

but then again when selling your car a lot of people operate the first come first served rule. if someone turns up with the cash & wants it then sell it, the other bloked should've come on tuesday

if graham is under the impresseion he is the first to view then tell him someone is coming first....

i wasnt gonna tell him not to come. i was just gonna let him know that the other person is comin earlier than he is.

he can come on tuesday is he wants it.

both have sayed that they have been lookin for a while and that mines is the best they have seen.

wat does everyone else think?

in that case mate i'd ring him & let him know the other bloke is coming earlier. then if he wants it badly enough he'll turn up earlier & buy it off of you

just got off the phone with graham. he said he will try and come round 2mo. but if he cant, the other dude will see it first.

he said if he buys it then he buys it. if not tho i have to phone him and he will come round. hopefully to buy it.
