Age of car - 1998
Model of car - 1.1 Saxo 5 Door
Modifications if so what - Sound System
Around 2 years ago I had a similar setup to what I have now (audio wise) - a sub, 2 6x9 speakers and a DVD head unit. However I took a gap off driving and 2 years later to come back to my car. Now more or less everything is working fine, apart from Dashboard clock, interior/boot lighting, central locking and the stereo. Now based on this (http://www.saxperience.com/forum/showthread.php?p=875025#post875025) thread, I've worked out that Fuse 8 needed changing, which after I got it out, turns out I did. But the others aren't as easy to get to for me, unless there is a tool that makes it easier to get them out.
Now the stereo is wired up correctly, as is everything else, and when the head unit is off/folded down, the eject button lights up and is clearly getting power (stereo has been tested in other cars including a similar saxo and works fine), I'm just wondering if changing just that fuse would fix this problem.
I can't test it with a new fuse yet as it's night, and I have work earlyish tomorrow, so would be better if I could guarantee a fix so I could get it done in the morning.
All help appreciated, thanks.
