ok so my vtr gearbox diff has gone have heard about people putting vts gearboxes in what are the pros and cons to this if any and would i need to change/uprate anything or is it a straight fit

It fits straight on but I think maybe one of the sensors on the box is different - might be the reverse light sensor. Need someone to confirm this though..

When i swapped my vtr box for a 1.4, i had to swap over the reverse sensor

VTS has a higher final drive (3.93) so better acceleration

i knew different boxes did different things ie faster acceleration but lower top speed just needed to know if they're straight swop

ive had a 1.1, vtr and vts box on my vts all straight fit and if any sensors do need swapping its very easy

Unscrew old sensor using ratchet from old gearbox and put it in the new box.
