I wouldnt have either of those sets. They bottom out and the shocks are a joke.

There's a thread thats been going for years.

True, and fair point actually :)

I wasn't teamed with the idea of having Coilovers for my 1.1, still aren't 100% keen on having them still.
Ideally just wanted stupidly low lowering springs at 1st, comfort doesnt bother me. Lol.
If I go ahead with the 4 stud conversion, i'll keep them. If not-Which is likely due to having 3 stud Compo Mo's. I'll flog them. And wait until I progress to a Vts :D

Yes the shocks are fairly shit. But you can always buy other shocks!
Your not restricted lol

ride comfort doesn't bother you?

it will when you go over a bump and it feels like your car's wheels have fallen off! :(

nothing wrong with a firm ride, i quite like it tbh :)

The springs are worse than the shocks, so replace the shocks & springs then ur left with the adjustable collar. But the collar is made of soft alloy which crossthreads easily and now u've replaced the entire kit!

it isnt a firm ride it smashed the bumpstops up every five minutes

Lol, I'm used to falling off bikes and such..
Driving a car with a Sh*t ride comfort etc is like gliding over silk compared to when I used to commute on a bike 60miles a day. :D

But I do agree, the quality of the Coilovers are erm... Say built to a tight budget.:n:
