Vodka & Cramberrie juice is what I used to recommend for a healthy drink when I worked in bars. Or a bloody mary, not to everyones tastes though!!!

This is a lot of misinformation out there. Firstly spirits can be very bad for you. When drinking them in any significant quantity you still have to take large amounts of other liquids and foods to help against the damage your doing.
It is not what your drinking but how many units your drinking. You could have a glass of wine or a beer every day with your dinner for many years yet you could still do potentially more damage from one nights binged drinking.

I thought alcohol was fattening? Even pure vodka
Although now I've said it, it sounds dumb. Disregard this post

vodka and diet coke is like 50-60 calories but is only 1 unit and is small, pint of carling is like 140 calories and is 2.5 units and is a pint. depends if you want to get bladdered quick or drink all night. they do weight watchers wine lol

Vodka, lime and soda water.
Contrary to popular belief, Guiness actually has a very low calorie count (180 to a pint). Who ever posted 140 calories for a pint of carling, double it, then add a bit and thats more like it. A pint of Stella is nearly 400 calories.

Any clear spirits. Just dont mix with fruit juice of full sugar fizzy drinks as they become as fattening as alcopops then.
Vodka and diet coke or Gin and tonic are your best bets. I cant stand vodka so gin and tonic is usually my chosen poison if i find myself in a pub. On a proper night out it doesnt make any difference though as you always end up on pints, jaeger bombs, alcopops and go for a big fat pizza or kebab at the end of the night anyway lol

Coke/lemonade/soda water all come from the same source essentially, except that the flavour (syrup) is added in as it leaves the tap.

I was informed wrong then lol..
Still going to try it out as diet coke is becoming tedious.
