alot of money tbh
i paid £40 for medical
£35 for multiple choice theory
£15 for hazard perception
£1481.29 for 32 hours training and TEST FEE

+ before you can actually drive you got to do some CPC stuff which i havent yet done which i think is £140.
Then £38 for your digital Tachograph.

I HOPE HGV1 isnt much different except you have to turn the opposite way when reversing a rigid. and you have to learn the Lines and how to lower the trailer etc.

It is alot but if it gets me out of retail it will end up paying dividends

+also alot of companies are using a 1 instructor with 2 learning method which really i see as half your time wasted.

Kent Metro is the company i used and they are based in Kingsnorth. and you have a free assesment drive.

erm well hazard was exactly the same in cars i didnt revise that. and the theory multiple choice is a 100 questions.

If you are going to do it id advise doing it sooner rather than later as the pratical test will be changing so that you will be marked down for using gears for slowing you down and driving un economically. there moto is brakes are for slowing gears are for going but personally if youve got 32 tonne your not going to want to go down a hill in higher gear 6 using just the brakes are you.

Adds up dont it, my mates doin his this year but getting it cheap friend of his mums an instructor or something. I was expecting around £600/700 for the training, and I would of considered it, but thats quite abit more! Guess it pays back though once you pass with a job.
