right, well heres the low down;
i got the car at christmas, and i wanted to have a gander at the engine bay, as you do, and so popped the bonnet ( at 8am and -13c) had a look at it and closed the bonnet, as it dropped it just seemed to bounce off the catch. i thought i might of snapped the cable with it being so cold. but i've checked and its intact, i decided to have a looked when i took the middle out of my grille but still can't solve it. its really getting at my now can anyone help?

p.s. sorry for the essay guys but i wanted to give as much info as possible for you to be able to help me properly :)

Just grape the cable with a pair of plyers and pull, bonnet will open....or where the cable ataches to the latch, flick that to the right and bonnet will release...it cable will have popped of a clip that gives it tention...easy to fix :D

oh hahaha...tryed WD-40?, the loosen the 2 13mm that hold it on, and move the catch up abit...catch may have just slipped down, happens on the boot ones to lol try that bud, my saxo did it, infact all but one of my 6 saxos has done it lol...anothing thing to try, will it close when you put a screwdirver in it (like if the bonnet catch was to go in), if it flicks witha screw driver its you positioning, if it doesnt flick its your latch :y:
