Loved the first test drive unlimited, played it to death.

I'm worried though that the new one will be exactly the same just on a different island. The introduction of 4x4's is also shite as well as the graphics engine appearing to be exactly the same.

Need to try a demo first me thinks.

Believe me, it hasn't. It was delayed once about October and the beta was released on time. My cop was dispatched yesterday so it may be home now. Shame I'm not home until Saturday.

Awesome game. There are a couple of bugs that Atari are getting through but wow, love it! The cars feel so much more planted over TDU1 and the off roading is incredible. Photos to come!

I've been online since about 1am but the server has just this minute died. Getting rather annoying if I'm honest.

Was on the first TDU, they fixed them after some updates.

I don't get any lag at all. There are indeed two maps too, Ibiza and the original but improved Oahu (Hawaii)

Yes m8 its the servers are playing up Eden need to sort this out not good enough i can see the likes of gamespot and ign not giving good reviews because of this problem. But if you can look past this it is a good game im sure it will be sorted soon

Massively disappointed with this. The driving physics on TDU were shite, and they still haven't improved it on this. Feels like you turn the wheel, it sends a message via telegraph to a slave on the front of your bonnet who kicks the wheel until it turns. Graphics were nothing special either, oh well i've got a student loan to blow :P

Its unfortunate its the next game to come out after GT5 and Forza 3; because overall TDU2 is a great arcade game, but everyone immediately compares it to the two main simulation games, which obviously it has nothing on, and is never meant to be like.

Spot on there. Test Drive isn't meant to be a simulator. It's an arcade game. I also think that for an arcade game, the controls and graphics are great. You can't expect 2000 miles of road to be photo realistic like on GT or Forza, especially with no loading times.

Update to fix corrupt saves was released yesterday. The big update is released 9am tomorrow :y:

Thank fuck. Couldnt wait for this game, had a brief play online and it was fun, but then it got shagged.

Shame the update is coming so soon to the release of Homefront.
