Right me and a few mates are going camping in summer on shell island, and i havent got a tent lol, was going to just kip in the car but turns out you're not allowed. So i was wondering if anyone knows any decent, cheap 2-3 man tents? There's only gonna be me and my gf staying in mine so doesn't need to be huge.
I was thinking of a tent like this:

but at like £250 there's no chance, so if anyone knows any other tents like this at a cheaper price or a good DIY way to do this help would be appreciated :y:

Try argos, if there's two of you sleeping in there, get a 3 man tent.

Argos, blacks, millets 2 man ones are only about 30 quid for a semi decent one anyway.

Halfords can be pretty good for them occasionally

Have spent many summers in tents like this. Work brilliant apart from under heavy HEAVY rain.
eBay Is likely your best bet, only downside will be the delivery cost.
Thing with tents are you don't want huge space in the sleeping area. Because it's a bigger area for bodies to warm. Cramped and Cosy lol

Bought this one last summer for 99.90€ (about £80) from Decathlon - must be the equivalent in the UK. Its one of those that springs up and folds down (once you've got the knack) - great tent thoroughly recommend it.

That's what i've got mate, quick pop up tent and good in all conditions to be fair and takes literally 5 minutes to put away.

make sure its double skinned, stops the inside getting all wet and condensated. i had a 1 skin tent once and never again, spent the best part of 6 months living in a tent on my first part of my backpacking trip. and a self inflating airbed/matress is a must.

got mine from halfords, cheap and couldn't fault it

mine was cheaper online than in the shop so make sure you have a look first then reserve and collect if needs be. might save you a bit of money :y:

i didn't realise this till the lad in the shop told me. had my iphone on me though so just used that to reserve it there and then and get the better price lol
