Demister! Have a look on ebay:

http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_nkw=car+demister&_sacat=0&_odkw=kitcar+demister&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313

Thats what il be getting, wire it into the cigerette lighter bit with a switch too. If you want, cut a hole out in the top of the dash if you have one and mounth it in there to keep the windscreen vision clear and make it look abit neater.

Heated windscreen would probably be the best bet, those plug in demisters are rubbish.

Which one you used? Theres a fair few, and dont cost too much so wouldnt mind trying one, but which ones should i avoid?

Heated windscreen yar, and good value for money, no overly expensive tbh!

My gf got one to put into her old car that the heaters didnt work in and was rubbish, was just a normal cheap one off ebay.

All of them plug in demisters are shit and don't work well.

I have this problem, at the minute i give the windscreen a wipe and leave my front windows open (standard glass in front two, polycarbs in back).

The best way is to get a heated windscreen, i wanted to organise a group buy a bit ago but there wasn't any interest, there was only 3 people.

well i dont actuali own a windscreen atm so tht maybe the answer then, wonder if theres aymore intrest in these now?

am going to see if i can some how run some ducting from the fog hole up th wing and though the hole where the orginal loom would of come, for some fresh air to cool down so may help a little...

would be quite gutted to say the least if you book your 1st track day in the car i have spend last 1year building to find out after half a lap i cant see.

If you want to try gather interest again, me and my brother will be interested in buying one each.

So that would be 3 of us already.

I was up for it before, but no one was interested therefore nothing came from it. Im on a tight budget and spent plenty this last two weeks so now main focus is the bare minimum to get the car MOT'd.

In the future I will be interested, but by time im interested it will be the summer so no need lol

I wont be able to afford it now :n: im almost literally skint after my short spending spree, just enough to get me MOTd with a bit of fuel. Inbetween jobs aswell so not going to have much money coming in before the MOT.

Current screen has a crack in btw which needs replacing before the MOT and being on a budget means just a standard screen for the time being. :n:

I use a demister bought from CBS.

Its connected to my dash windsreen ducting under the dash and blows onto the drivers side of the windscreen. :)

I used the anti mist stuff you wipe on the visors for motorbikes worked ok, also took all the moisture out with a dehumidifier.

As Dave has pointed out the demister there is a different league to ebay stuff

Dave is it actually any good, how long does it take to demist the windscreen?

It looks very similar to a couple i've tried which have ended up in the bin.

(edit)
Just seen the post above. The ones i've tried are ebay crap.

Dave are you going to any trackdays/shows this year so i can see how good it is?

It doesn't blow very hard but you can feel the heat coming from it, i've seen one of my competitor's using one in the rain and it cleared the drivers side of the screen fine.

I've never had to use my one really, all the events i've done have been pretty much dry since i fitted it... typical eh!

I might do some track days this year... i need my box to last most than 30 sec's first though.
