for my dad :)
i cant think of anything :panic:
he has a 4L petrol grand cherokee jeep, i think its now averaging 14 mpg, which is pretty dismal.
he NEEDS to get something cheaper but hes so attatched to it lol.
so budget probs not much more than 2k as i dont think he'd get much more than that for his jeep.
HAS to be big enough to carry like 4/5 hay bales in the back which still sounds like we'll need a 4x4 or a volvo? lol
HAS to have enough space for two large breed dogs, in the back seats and in the boot.
i cant think of anything that fits that criteria but it has to be good on fuel and be able to carry hay pretty much lol
so ideas?

+1 for the hilux.
Just noticed you said he wanted loads of seats that rules out the hilux, unless they did a king cab version i haven't seen??

dispatch van or if you need bigger,a transit t350, no mention of it needing to have any 4x4 capabilities, cheap as cheap, reliable as the setting sun and can get all manner of crap in them.

what about a pajero/shotgun, think the pajero was cheaper even though it's the import model, my old man has one and it's pretty nippy for a desiel.
