So, where was everyones first journey they took in their first car?

mine was 3 years ago and was to morrisons to pick up a steak and spuds haha.

3 weeks after passing my test shamefully I went up Leeds in my dads 307 and I nearly crashed it :(

College! Looking back i make that journey every day now and it's nothing to me, but it was so fun and weird being alone in the car for the first time.

As Sad as i sounds i can remember it as if it was yesterday.. even though they tell you to not got out for a day or two i was out within half an hour of passing :D

Aviators on, windows down (passed in July)... Foot down! Went to sandbanks pimping it up and ragging it around :y:

That was the only drive in the car i actully enjoyed fucking thing was forever breaking which was 100% my fault everytime, driving like a twat.. learnt that lesson the hard way going up somones arse in a gashtra one morning on the way to college.. Lesson learnt :oops:

lol my uncle was keeping my car for me so when i passed he brought it down and got me to take him back home concidering he lives nearly 10 mile away and id never drove there before....

then i had to drive home on my OWN i took the wrong turning ended up on a motorway following the signs for sunderland haha...

yet i was nervous it was the best day of my life like a whole new world of freedom!

i didnt have a clue where i was lol... follow the signs shortie follow the signs came off at the wrong turning still in sunderland but the other end and had even more fun trying to get home... just aswell my car came with a full tank of petrol :)

I went and picked up 3 mates, then drove around aimlessly.

Then drove up the M2 to bluewater for some food, drove back home, drove around some more, ended up getting in at 3 in the morning

I did the same as above for about a year did it for a while when i got my first bmw too jsut driving for the sake of it :clapping:

Now if i do go out its for decicated sunday blast threw the forest to deafen my self and not just drive around town checking fanny ;)

Picked up a few mates, drove down to Sainsbury's, bought a cooked chicken and some french bread then drove to rother valley and ate the food while soaking up the summer sun.

passed my driving test around 3pm..

got home and had a nap! coz' i didnt sleep much the night before.. and it was a big relief to get it over and done with...

woke up again around 6ish.. went and got petrol, picked up a chinese take away and took it round to my misses'

ah it was the strangest feeling.. freedom + nerves i guess
and my car felt soooo big not having some one sat beside me

Took my mums car out as soon as I passed my test just for a random drive and the timing belt went. Haha.

First time I drove my own car was when I picked my DC2 up from the other side of the country (Aly land) and drove it back.

i passed my test in Telford on a wednesday. but my car was at me mam and dads near newquay:n: so borrowed a mates mk2 wednesday and thursday, one of the lads off the base i was at lived near there so he gave me a lift down friday night,

went to take the car out and me mam had left no petrol in it!:wall: and there wasnt any 24 hour places for miles, so had to wait untill the next morning, woke up went to the petrol station, then from there all the way back up to Cosford!!!!!

and got pulled over on the M5 for my window tints being to dark!:panic: Limo black all round! :oops:

drove home at 2 in the morning down the M1 the hour and a half home after having a new clutch fitted and no speedo, that felt so strange with a brand new clutch and was pretty scary lol

i passed and phoned my mate offering a lift, then we picked up his gf and her friends, my gf was in bristol and i didnt want to drive there from manchester first day driving..
after that we almost got into a fight (nothing to do with me driving) then went for some food!
it felt so good driving with music turned up and no one telling me what to do..

As mine was over 10 years ago I cant remember if I drove my mums Shogun back from the test centre or if that was one of the times I failed.

First proper memory was the Friday night routine ( I passed mid week) driving down a back road a little quick god it was fun, needed more so I was an hour late meeting my mate who also passed the same day as I did.

Not hard to remember as was only last wednesday ha. I went to work then went to my dads and about an hour just pointless driving around everywhere :D Love driving tbh. Got my 1st big journey coming up thursday though, about 50 min drive to college. I just hope i dont get lost ha. I have a basic idea of the route so i should be ok :)
