crashed the next car about 3 months after...

Shitty little crashes though. Although, my door wouldn't open on the 106 after crashing it :S
The first crash was a stupid one, I was going into an underground carpark and the light blinded me and I didn't notice that there was a sharp right hand turn. Went straight into the wall :p Was worse hearing the sound of my mate trying to make it safe to drive after with a crowbar.

cheeky bit of lift off oversteer caught me out. Lesson learnt. will get my foot in quicker next time ;)

I crashed the day I put the for sale sign in my first car, wasnt actually my fault, my ex's cousin (who has been driving 2 weeks) pulled out on me on a roundabout

Pulling up at the petrol station (few months later) I hit the bollard. I think i brought the clutch up to late as i turned the engine off. The head light was pushed in. :S
Secondly a foreign bloke in a Focus rushing about went into the back of me. Poor boot floor. :( it still pressed on but with it rusting it had to go.
Lastly i scraped my arch off the gate (current car) i was meh after.
And i was sooooooooooo lucky the other week travling to the metro centre.. i was going about 45-50.. i dont know how i didnt hit but it didnt.

I will have been driving 2 years in October, but so far haven't crashed! *touch wood*
In the first week of passing I had a near miss though... I was following a mate, approaching a roundabout and as I went to press the brake, I tapped the accelerator instead! I managed to swerve into the second lane (thank God there was no-one there!).

I wrote two cars off in my first year of driving. Then got one stolen and wrote another one off in my second year. Rolled my old company car back in 06. Had 4 rear enders in one year in 07 (no wonder I've got a bad back). But trouble free since then!
But I've never crashed into another road user in my driving lifetime.

had a similar one. Twice while being parked and one while being still(woman reversed without looking). Drivers door folded in half and front damaged twice in a row, all within 10 days.

First proper one was in the BMW. Taught me that wet + rwd + acceleration round corners can = disaster. Seriously, it taught me to just chill out. I wasn't trying to be an epic drifter or anything either, it just happened, moment of not thinking. Was after 2 and a half years.
Other than that, I've had the odd prang or two.

No, I haven't crashed but I suppose I have, wasn't my fault. Someone pulled out infront of me on a main road, I had no chance to stop, smashed into side of the Micra in my work van.

been driving since october.. and ive not had a crash.. had a couple near misses (other people, not me! especially in all the snow we just had)
but the other day, i pulled in to park out side my house.. mums car is in our drive way.. so i went to park in front of her.. and well.. it didnt look as close (our drive is on a slight hill, so her car looks further back, if that makes sense)
and i caught her bumper slightly.. :homme:

(mums car is an R reg rover 416i, runs on lpg and has done 215k miles. so no big deal) lol

Very lucky by the sounds of it! I didn't think I was doing 30mph tbh, I remember accelerating in 3rd, from below 30. Might have been oil on the road, and my tyres weren't great. I too was lucky not to hit owt as I ended up going straight across the road, but 4 lanes of traffic? Someone was watching out for you that day mate!

Going 60mph (the speed limit of the road).
Hit some diesel on a corner. Lost the back end, corrected. Lost it again. BOOM. Kerb. Bent my stub axle and my wheel. Still got the wheel at my mums as a reminder!

yeh if it had been a saxo i wouldnt have been as lucky, nothing from the windscreen back was damaged, small crack in the widscreen where the bonnet had come back into it, and one of the interior door handle surrounds was cracked from the force but was amazing how well it held together, think if the roof had been off it would have been quite a bit weaker

Wrote off my Micra 2 weeks after passing my test driving like a dickhead
Learnt my lesson there and haven't had an accident since (9 years)
Best advice I could give anyone is buy a shitter for your first year of driving, I completely ignored my Dad's advice, spent all my money on a tidy Micra only to smash it up

I had a tiny knock within my first two years. Guy pulled off at an island and then changed his mind with nothing on the island. No damage, the guy was ok.
Few years later some guy slammed on at a green light on a national speed limit road. Hit the back of him at about 70mph. His Berlingo stopped amazingly well thinking about it. My Golf was written off with a twisted chassis etc... Also, the guy didn't claim whiplash. I'm amazed!
Live and learn. Crashing is NOT a very nice feeling!

i stuffed my renault 19 that i was using while my golf was in the body shop. about 5 weeks after passing my test, id only had the car about 16 hours or something daft. was to busy playing with the stereo and by the time id looked up i was going into a 90 degree bend at about 70.
according to witnesses the car flipped end over end about 8-9 times and came to a stop on its roof in a field. roof was crushed down to the top of the doors, ended up in hospital for a week over that xmas......managed to get myself out of the car through the back window, then found out at the hospital i had 2 hairline fractures on 2 lower vertabrae!:fcuk:
then another 9 months after passing, was on medication that i wasnt supposed to drive on......but i still did.
ended up slamming into the back of some poor sod that was sat at a red light...

you had to pull the bull bars forward about half an inch so the bonnetwould shut.....but apart from that, all the damage is still on it

Yeah, was shitting myself in the 20 seconds before I pulled over. I was deciding how I wanted to play it, it was 100% the guys fault but I knew I wasn't insured or anything (I was borrowing the car for work while mine had it's MOT) I figured I could be a hard ass blaming him for the damage what had he done to my car etc....
I went with this and the guy was a bit of a mess he had someone with him. Luckily no police were needed as both cars were drivable so we 'exchanged' fake details & off I went.

I've not had a crash on the road yet. I've had a cheeky little bum off the road though. Was waiting in the queue for the 0-60 at FCS, turned to sort my headrest out but had left it in gear and as i turned round my foot came off the clutch and i hit the back of another member on here. 1.0 open scandal iirc :D
