And hold a rally stage event, which road/where would it be?

http://i415.photobucket.com/albums/pp234/Joshb1984/route.jpg

This is my route, its got every aspect of a good route, tight bends, good straights, hazards, narrow gaps, etc. Would be great to shut the roads and get spectators etc.

Got a circuit round my lanes I guess I'd close those off probably be able to them even quicker if I 100% knew nothing was coming, be more reliable than doing it in dark and turning lights out for corners haha.

Just been watching it on TV where they do it in some villages not on the mainland. Looks great fun!

Local road to me,called Dangerfield.I would rather they sorted some of the holes at the edges than close it though.

More fun when its open, adds to the risk.

that motorway that is a ring round london. Roadworks would make good rally obsticles, and best on a day where people will most likely to need to get into london but they cant

Smooth tarmac, fast straights, banked corners, dips and hills. All with the biggest mountain in the uk to your side.
A wee lost treasure of a road with fuck all traffic, apart from farmers quads bikes. Amazing place to drive, but shh!

near me. doesn't look all that great but single track, lots of little bumps makes it good fun. been down it myself loads of times. you can actually scrape the lower strut brace if you go quick enough :p

no one said it had to be in UK, so how about the road that the Top Gear lads went looking for in Romania? Not been but look....

I live in the middle of this area and know these roads like the back of my hand. The best roads around me IMO.... fast corners and sticky tarmac :D

google maps- directions

rhayader - aberystwyth

30 mile mountain side road you can see for about 2miles infront of you as it goes round the cliff edge so loads of time to overtake, sharp bends, fast bends and a 4 mile long straight over 3 little hills and then downhill

most bikes use it as its just amazing

I couldn't make my mind up so I'd just close every road in the British Isles (UK, Northern Ireland and all of those little islands in between). Be spoilt for choice then ;D
