35-40mm, I've got a 60mm drop and if I have more than two people in the car I have to slow for speedbumps but it's not that bad. Saying that I ripped my exhaust off today but that's due to rust

mines lowered 75mm and i dont have any problems with passengers in car...
its those dastardly speedbumps that get me!

50mm is probably the best size imo though! :y:

my opinion, 35 mm.

Rides well,
Handles well
looks, well, like the suspension hasn't broken.

Yeah I got my cat back system done there as well,

The lowering was £200 for front springs and the torsion bar just so you know don't let them charge you more mate, maybe even see if you could knock the price down at bit, however my torsion bar was seized up so the had to heat it up to free it which was why it cost that much

Wow, you got mugged off!

I charge £90 to do the torsion bar and fit springs. That price stays the same regardless of if it's seized or not and the job is Guaranteed to be done in less than 3 hours.

Worth the extra few miles :)

personally i'd say 40mm front and rear, but reading down this thread it's obvious everyone has there own opinion.
Best thing you can do is go on the progress threads. Look at some pics, find how much they're lowered by and just have a look for the one that you think looks best.
