A friend of mine bought a 106 Rallye off eBay around Oct 2010, but he hasn't sent the V5 off yet and he's had the car for a while now, in this time he has got flashed twice by a speed camara but heard nothing, any ideas what will happen from here because he has not sent the form off?
Thanks

I hope he's not in his first two years of driving ;)
Why's he not sent it off? :S

If he hasnt sent the forms off yet then they cant trace it back to him, the old owner is probably getting all his fines lol But when and if he does register it he may find 2 speeding fines land on his door step. Why was he driving it without changing the V5 for so long anyway?

Yeah you do lol whatever he does its gonna catch up with him unless he keeps the car forever and never changes the V5.

If he is setting off speed cameras. Then the previous owner gets the points and fines.
Rules changed a few years ago, where the previous owner has to send the V5 off, and not the buyer.
But if for what ever reason you have the form and not sent them off, then why hasn't he? Just lazyness that. But at the same time it's not for him to send off, it's the sellers as i already mentioned.

If the last owner has complained about all this if he is getting the fines it would surprise me if his car is on their pull list :/

He's a nice kid and all, but he's so lucky with things like this, gets away with murder!
