Right, last MOT in October was told that the bearings are going on the rear axle and that "this time next year" itll need a new axle
i paid £650 for this beast, is it really worth nearly £400 for a refurb'd axle? :/
really want to make the £400 seem worth while, but with hours being cut at work im struggling to :/
wanted to S it, so been looking for a cheap S on't Bay. hopeless
ideas?

You will find one for less than £100 if you keep looking. Its always a gamble if its a good one though.
Wouldn't have thought a refurb is in the equation as its 70% of the cost of the car. Only you can decide that though.

Might have to give mandyslover a bell, was looking at IMAxle, £390, with £25 off if i give my old axle in, and then minus a 5% discount for being a member :/
