I'm sure there is a massive thread some where with loads of pictures at different heights. Have a quick search and i'm sure it will come up.

Thanks for them pictures mate and also thanks for the link to the other pictures. For 60mm lowering springs that front dont look as low as i thought it would be. Will there be a difference if you was on VTR wheels ??

im pretty sure it doesnt make it any lower with aftermarket shocks. I wouldve thought standard shocks will sit lower as the shocks will wear out lol

mine at 60mm with spax springs and shocks

Saxotim - Thanks for the link i have already checked that out, i have seen cars lowered 60mm sitting at different heights on the same wheels which to me is strange

LSOfreak - Thank you for the picture, seems pretty high for 60mm mind you, i just ordered 60mm springs if it sits high i will cut them to get the right height haa

liio hope you're joking with that idiotic comment!!! You cut them ok use as a show car but I'd throw the book at you if you were in an accident, its downright stupidity and if I were your insurance company wouldnt pay the claim which brings up another point check out you can get insurance at the anticipated drop some insurers impose a limit 40 or 50! A proper 60mm lowering spring will lower 60mm. You'll get a different exact amount based on the car though, heavier engine will drop you lower than a feather engine... so a 1.1 will drop different to a 1.6 etc....for a given spring rate

it is a little high. im going to chop the bumpstops a bit more on the front as i think it might be sitting on them :S
vts's sit a tiny bit lower due to the heavier lump as said. likewise when comparing a 1.4 to a vtr etc.
whatever you do i wouldnt chop springs. they loose there strength when you cut them as there prgressively wound or something iirc. plus it can fail an mot and if cut too short can jump out its seating.
i wouldnt worry too much about insurance aswell tbh. ive told my insurance ive lowered it 40mm (when its really 70mm) and they didnt say a thing when they saw the car. doubt they would even know how low a 40mm saxo is.

Noo i was joking about cutting them hence the ''haa'' written after it. I am no cowboy i like to do things properly, at the end of the day its my safety thats at risk so i would never go that route.

Wont cutting the bumpstops cause any sort of damage thoughh mate.

not all too sure. ive already cut a notch off, apparently people say to get the full 60mm drop you need to cut 2 off... can always put them back or buy new ones but im undecided yet.

It's on Spax -40 PSX dampers rather than stock ones but since the original spring pans and top mounts are retained there is no difference in height between stock dampers and shortened ones.
