hi all, seems like i cant stay away. some might remember me from a few years ago when i had the silver mk2 vtr, put my heart and sole into that car and was very sorry to sell it, went a couple of years with different cars (clio cup,bmw,mgzr160 etc) but came back to a mk1 vts, loved it but had to sell that too, now have a shinny new one, had lots done to it already, 205gti wheels in black, 283mm brake, yellow stuff pads all round,bmc,de-cat,magnex exhaust, lowered 35mm all round on apex shocks and springs, de wipered rear.
heres my 1st vtr,

looks all good bar the fuel filler cap, its not my cup of Tea. Spacing doesnt look ott but would suit the streched look better, 10mm all round sounds like a better plan :)

Just the rears mate. 3mm universal ones on the front. they were an experiment tbh. No vibrations or any bad signs tbh!

performance wise, i'd say it wouldn't be noticeable if it has. but it seems to get the stance about right to match the rears.

loving the vts pal, do you get much rubbing on the rears with the 20mm spacers? fitting my 205s next month and was thinking about putting spacers on while i was at it.
its lowered 40mm at the back and on 50 profile until i can afford 45s :(

Well mines down 35mm with 45tyres and there's no rubbing with 2 in the back.
Might just go 5mm on fronts then and leave the back at 20mm.
