The blue sensor on the right side of the engine has a green wire coming out of it well that has been snipped, Just wanting to know what it is for?

Yeep is abit weird although the temp sensor goes up and down and fan kicks in aswell how can it do that with no sensor? Ha

In Citroens wisdom, they decided to have 2 coolant temperature sensors - one that gives a reading to the dash gauge (green sensor) and one that sends it to the ECU (blue sensor) to control fuel injection.
If it's not getting a reading from the ECU sensor, it will just use stored values.
The radiator fan has it's own switch that comes on ~92°c - and that's why it works :y:

Ahh right that makes sense!, Do i need to worry about it as thats not the only problem i have at the moment :D

Its round the other way Blue 1 is for the dash reading,green 1 is to give its correct name an injection calculus sensor(Haynes manual):y:
