You know when you see cars with the blue tintes headlights, is this done by simply fiting blue xenon bulbs in place of your standard ones? I know that you can buy theproper sets but does changing the bulbs hav a smiliar effect?

changing the bulbs can make them look similar but wont match up to a proper HID conversion

yeh i also have ice-blue xenon bulbs, they are legal and help in dark counrty roads. you cant exactly see that they are blue until you compare it to a regualar car headlight! then it appears blueish white. smileys/smiley16.gif
Only the rallye bulbs are illegal...
www.autobulbsdirect.com are a really good site, and their prices are cheap too...

The next best thing to the full HID conversion are the Xenon bulbs. You pay for what you get at the end of the day. I've got some Philips Blue Vision headlight bulbs and I think they're superb.
