After bending my valves when fitting a set of ph3s, I did a cylinder head change(I had a spare 3plug head lying about)
Just fitted it and im running on 2 cylinders.
Got excellent compression...got spark, got fuel.
Getting a backfire thru the inlet manifold when it heats up.

I've had running issues with this head before, but i thought it was a sensor problem. I'm using the sensors from the original head, so it shouldn't be that.

Any ideas?

Just a though...would the car run if I put the cams in the wrong way?

The earlier models had flange modulators, but this newer type is controlled by a hydrostatic head! Less moving parts....simpler design!

If you have a spare coil pack swap it over try that.

Steve.

Im getting spark from all 4 plugs.
Pretty sure the coilpack is fine, as it worked on my original head

Sorry mate but yor post was slightly confusing,if your getting a backfire through the inlet manifold then there has to be fuel/air leak.:y:
