There is like a rubbing noise ( like braking with worn pads) when i press on the brakes lightly at slow speed ( 20mph or slower). I checked over them today and discovered the pads were fairly worn and the discs had rust round the out side and inside of braking face on front and back of the disk. I have replaced both discs and pads today and the brakes worked great with no noise but the noise has slowly been getting louder and louder agian :(
Any ideas?

Does this happen after you havent used your car for a good few days or is it constant if its under 20mph?
Mine only does this after Ive left it parked and unused for a few days but if I use it everyday then it doesnt make any sounds ragardless of speed. Most likely just rubbish/dirt/crap thats built up on your disks/pads being unused.

Yeah see that is logical haha, but mine seems to be really random, I use my car a lot and usually do around 50 -60 miles a day. some times i pull up at junctions with no noise at all and the next one they make a noise but later on the go quiet again. They have confused my like :S haha

Did you put coppergrease on your discs and pads?? Recommend you clean your calipers with a wire brush and disc mount then copper grease the hub and the back of your pads.

I gave the hub a clean with a wire brush but no i never put copper grease on either of the pads and hub. I will do that tomorrow and see what happens :) THANKS very much for your help mate.
May i ask what the copper grease does?

May i ask what the copper grease does?
Just stops brake squeal and prevents the pads from seizing
