Ok, so my car has done 80,000 miles and i was wondering if there are specific things i should get checked or a list of things that need looking at. I dont have a manual and i assume there would be a list in there....

Any suggestions as to what will need looking at and if anybody else has had an 80,000 mile service done, and how much it costs aprox.

Cheers

Cam belt should probably be changed if it hasnt already

Assuming there is no service history, give it a full service or pay someone to do it
Maybe £150 for a full service from a garage, could be cheaper

Might be an idea to change the water pump & cambelt tensioner as well when you do the cambelt.

at 83k i had a new cambelt water pump and headgasket along with the all the filters and spark plugs that you would get as part of a normal service

Thanks guys, will send it in for full service and get a few extra bits done too.

Tbh the car runs beautifully right now, but i'd rather catch any problems whilst they are minor.
