Are there noticeable differences with and without strut braces, im tempted by one because i think they look good but wondering if i would actually notice any difference?

i have a friend who said i should get one they make it "handle so much better"

but this is a guy who once said he had his vtr remapped to 16valve  lol

I had a sparco top one on and you could feel the difference. the lower one is ment to make the biggest improvement.

I have a lower brace and it made a great difference! Definately worth it IMO! :y:

I had a lower one but it smashed every bump I went over as the rear is lowered 60mm
Had to get it removed because it was bent up and vibrating on the sump

I have a top one, slight improvement. Go for both an upper and lower and it should be noticeable :)

(By the way, this should be in the section below)

It's easy if you've got the tools, I only had a straight 18mm spanner and a socket set, it's impossible without a bendy 18mm

another 18mm socket and a rachet on the other side?

used a universal joint on mine and got it jammed so i could undo the nut ;)

know what you mean though, made really easy work on the 1.1 but on the vtr the ARB seems to be just in the bloody way haha ;)

Normally, strut braces make the biggest difference when you already have an upgraded suspension setup. It tightens up the car reducing flex in the body which in turn increases grip. So ideally you can see the most improvement with a full kit
