Todays Rant
Ordered a new washing machine last week from Boots (didnt even know they did them). Was advised it would be delivered on Friday. "Sorry sir, no its will now be delivered to the carriers on Friday, you will get it next week"........
So the big delivery day comes (today) and the driver says "I have to pick up the old one too" All good so far. Then he says"just bring it down the stairs, and then you can sign for the new one" HOLD ON!!!!
I paid for delivery to my door and £10 for removal of the old machine from my kitchen. If I could get the old machine downstairs I would ahve simply taken it to the free council recycling place.
Now you may all think "fair enough, health and safety blah blah" ]
BUT IT SPECIFICALLY ASKED how many steps will the appliance have to go up or down, and I truthfully answered 23. YES 23, no like the top of 10 storeys or anything.
Needless to say I am posting this on a few forums, poor customer service deserves to be highlighted.
Oh and finally, I have to wait up to 5 working days for the refund of my payment.
So my advice is avoid Boots Kitchen appliances
