Cheers man, its a lot nicer the drive than my saxo was - but also a lot more expensive ha

Finding my new Cupra the same, much much better car of course, better in every way than the Saxo as a day to day car.

However Itll never be the same as the Saxo for pure throw it around fun factor.

Loving it so far, literally much better in every way except when theres a nice stretch of country lane ahead, probably just as quick in the cupra but the Saxo just felt so much more fun - PS i absolutely hate power steering.

The Ax GT should satisfy my fun needs quite well eventually

would the cupra not be quicker? i reckon my saxo is still quicker up to about 20/25 because the cupras ESP stops you doesn't it. but once the turbo kicks in its a lot quicker. second gear 30 to 60 in unreal

Much quicker acceleration for the Cupra without a doubt, Mk5 is both Turbo and Supercharged which feels awesome. Saxo felt quicker in the corners though, had much more confidence in it

^^

Believe me, saxo doesn't look better than that, even if the cupra was rear ended i'd still like it better.

Looks very nice and eye catching colour. Quite a big size difference between what are effectively both small cars.
