On the way home just now I saw a VTR and a ford fiesta S 55 plate racing eachother down the dual carriage way now thats fine :) but the ford fiesta was destroying the VTR was the driver just not booting it or are fiesta S that fast compared to a VTR ?

zetec s' are actually quicker than the VTR's slighty. Better BHP and are 16v. IIRC.

also VTR's are not fast,end of. The technology in them is about as sophisticated as a stick with a nail in it, only 98hp max un-modified,the only place the Saxo scores is in the fact that they weigh as much as a satsuma so would probably move with the power of a chainsaw engine

The Fiestas are more powerful by such a marginal amount that they would be so close in an actual race that it would come down to the driver

i dont hate saxo's and i dont hate all the owners... i just hate the daft boy racer type owners...

i used to own a saxo, my gf owns a saxo, a few of my mates own saxo's and my gf's uncle owns the Axo saxo.. like i said, i just hate the handful that drive around public roads like its a rally stage

the only things i normally slate or take the piss out of are, the fact that they crumple in a crash, but iv also said that can be sorted with a weld in cage and also there is a large number of chavs who own saxo's and around my way it always seems to be little dicks in flat arches or fiestas doing handbrake turns and burn outs in carparks

there was also a guy on crx-uk who smashed his crx into a lamp post, full front end was ripped off.. you could see part of the dash poking through the bulk head.. but, turns out his car was in a smash before and hadnt been repaired properly...
