Okay so ive recently put in a dimma style grill , and theres an ugly gold bar showing behind it.
Obviously id need to spray it black but what is the best way to go about doing it?
Just mask round it and spray?

Yeah I have the same problem with mine, am thinking of just getting a scrap peace of wood or something to black the spray paint and placing it behind so any spray paint doesnt go into the engine bay. Remove the grill and then spray then put the grill back on. Ill upload a picture if i get round to doing it. Or maybe use a paint brush.

Mask everything inthe engine bay and areas outside that you think the paint could get onto and spray away or see if you can remove it for spraying

It's a bodge, but black tape will only take a couple of minutes :)

To save the hassle of masking everything up just rub it down & brush paint it black.
