How is the focus better than the astra? The astra is immense! Quicker than the Focus too ;)! Love them in red! My mate had a Nurburgring, stage 2, had a Diff fitted and an ARB and that sorted the major torque steer issue and made it handle much better!

And as mentioned REMUS is a must!

Very nice mate. I'd always choose one of these over the ST. Every other car is an ST these days, wayyy to common!

I will feel sorry for you when you go too fast round a corner and understeer and crash!! Saxo wouldnt understeer as bad as that. Look half decent but whats the point in all that power if it cant go around a corner. End of the day it is american and roads are straight over there, corners dont exist:P

Dumb thing to say really
It will only do that if you are slamming it round at high speed and why would you be stupid enough to do that

They do have a lot of power but Vauxhall wouldnt sell them if you couldnt go round a corner???

Would rather have a VXR over a rattly French Saxo :)

You ever been to NYC as an example, plenty of corners
They do have long roads in America but cities have lots of corners

as said by devil do you really trash it around corners or accelarate through them or do you go fast down the stright then brake for the corner then accelarate out of the corner understeer dont exist in everday driving stop watching top gear

People are basing their opinions of this car based on top gears opinion, rather than their own experience, yes it understeers , so do most if not all front wheel drive cars. Get over yourselves, jealousy is a terrible thing. The astra vxr is an epic car, and is ridiculously fun to drive.

Cause you cant afford the astra most probs

I was between this, or my Audi a3, but i choose VAG

My mate also had a Nurburgring adition and was quite heavyly tuned, and it blew 3rd gear basically every month :zainy:

yeah i wont be doin that much tuning to start with im thinking stage 2 remap, full decat exhaust, panel filter and a oil restrictor bolt then that will give me 285bhp which is more than enough tbh

Depends what saxos your reffering to mate as im sure there are some on here that will eat VXR'S, Focus RS's etc round the twisties

In all honesty i would say my old VTS was more fun to drive on some roads than My EP3 and down country lanes there wouldnt be a huge difference in which was quicker.

The VXR to me is a nice looking car and quick in a straight line but with some trying to say it would eat the Focus ST are just talking out their arses !!

Watch!

Why do you think all the adverts have an american guy speaking on them??

General Motors Company (NYSE: GM, TSX: GMM.U) is an American multinational automaker based in Detroit, Michigan and the world's second largest automaker.[3] With its global headquarters in Detroit, GM employs 209,000 people in every major region of the world and does business in some 157 countries. General Motors produces cars and trucks in 31 countries, and sells and services these vehicles through the following divisions: Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Opel, Vauxhall, and Holden. GM's OnStar subsidiary provides vehicle safety, security and information services.

Nobody actually cares where GM is based or where it originated. Its still a British Manufacturer.

Chealsea is owned by a Russian but its still an English football club

Its a decent car and hope you enjoy it. I'd have one if I could afford the insurance
