Get a Spyderco, not cheap at £100 odd but it's legal to carry in the UK (as long as you are a respectable citizen over 18 and not some chav) as it's blade is sub 3" and non locking. Dad has one and it's an excellent piece of kit :)

Fucking expensive too at £22 (£18 with my discount) considering my fat max was only £7 :wall:

There not actually on the band list though some insane number of knives are. Te me the laws are insane as a knife is a knife and your average kitchen knife will do far more damage then most banned knives but anyhow that the UK law system all over for you.

As for a legal carry knife ie a 3 inch folding knife a locking knife is not namely forbidden. However some how a court has manage to have a case where they “proved” a folding knife is not a folding knife!!!?????? Yes I know it is insane. What they did was say if a knife could lock it is no longer a folding knife. Though when you think about it every single folding knife locks when open so really all penknifes and such like are illegal to carry in public.

Yer I don't think it's what knife as much as who/when, as I always have mine in my pocket at work etc but wouldn't take it clubbing with me on a night out..

Flick knives arnt allowed or at least that's what I've been told before which in a way is similar to mine but measured the blade on mine comes in under 3" iirc
