Hi all

We've been hard at work over the winter repreparing the rally car for this season. What with new regulations, lessons learned from last season with the car and general developments a few things have changed.

Quick pic for now, will update when I have more time with a full spec as things stand if anyone is interested.

Thank you to Chris Temple at Templerallysport and Colin for helping solve my numerous handbrake headaches!

Cheers

Paul

Yeh it's quite high up and far back on the rollcage.

We beat two S1600 kit cars to take third on that rally, so I can assure you we were hammering it lol!

Do a search for a thread I put up about Hankook RS2 road legal track tyres. That's what we ran on the last couple of rallies.

Prior to that we were running Kumho rally slicks which, being rally tyres are a grey area for the law - in theory you can run them while competing on a road section, similar to forest tyres. But try explaining that to the police office who stops you because you appear to be running moulded slicks!

I've run a number of different type of rally tyre, and Pirelli RS7s were by far the most amazing tyres I have ever driven on!

Sorry to say, this is now sold - so no more rally Saxo updates from this camp for a while!

I'll be honest - everything has its price and I got made an offer I couldn't refuse. It's a very good rally car and I've had a LOT of fun out of her, but the TV stuff needs to take priority at the moment. I'll post some pics from our last rally on here in a bit,

Paul
