got a 99 mark 1 saxo a 1.1 and i can not get a quote for under £2000 what is going on lol and i am 19 also standard can any one help me please

Insurance depends on alot more things such as, Where you live, Milegage, Colour of the car and even down to stupid things like your name.

I'm 19 aswell.. I'm paying £2200 for my 1.1

You'll find it tough trying to get a quote under £2000, without Bullsh*tting on alot of things.

Im 19 and i was paying £834 for a 1.1 now im paying 1.3k for a VTR

Was with Quinn direct abit over a year ago that was £1650 for a Mk4 Golf. But they've gone fubar now.

Now with Endsleigh, with a Saxo 1.1

I'm 19 with 1 years no claims and mine is £1500 for a 1.1 I complain but I no that most people pay more than that so i just man the fuck up and pay it :)

those quotes are pretty standard tbh. i have 2 years NCB and mine is £925 at 19 on a 1.1 so anything £2000 or less is probably good

paying 82 a month for 1.1 got a quote for vtr 86 pound a month for vtr quinn btw

aviva are giving 12 months for the price of 10,for new customers,my 18 year old son insurance is up next week ,this is hes second year and its £1600 for a 1.1 sax.
First year was £2600 owch.

Try bell.. They quoted me 749 with 2 years no claims for the vtr

As I have said many many many times before, you cannot compare the price you pay to someone else as there as so many factors involved

Unless you are the same age, live in the same house, passed your test on the same day, have the same job, trying to insure the same car.....and have a whole host of other things the same......you are always going to get different quotes

Shop around, although with zero no claims I would say that 2k might be about right as 17 year olds on here are being quoted 3-4k.
