Alright mate, nice looking VTR, not feeling the all black theme, could do with a colour breakdown somewhere IMO but it's each to their own mate and it certainly looks tidy :y:
Right, i got the badges on, this is what i did
1. Small flat head screwdriver with a very thin head and prise off the old VTR badge, it will be pretty sticky and it took me a while to get it off but it will come off.
2. Scrape off residue glue bits that reside around the edges of the dips and where the badge previously stuck, i used a bit of white spirit on a cloth and wiped it down afterwards to get rid of the tackyness.
3. Get some clear plastic glue, loctite usually do some good glue's but motor factors will sell specified products, or an official motor product usage glue, needs to be strong enough to take the stick when washing it and also get some masking tape.
4. Put the glue on the back acrilic part of the badge after attaching 3 long horizontal strips of masking tape to the sides and middle of the new badge.
5. Place on bumpstrip and line up to how you think is straight, attaching the bottom section of each tape bit to the bump strip, hold for a few mins till it holds it's own and then tightly attach the top parts to the bump strip, this should hold it in place to dry for you.
6. Leave it for about 2-3 hours then remove the masking tape.
:y:
I'll upload my pics on my progress thread tonight, couldn't get a pic by pic guide though cause my camera wouldn't work.
