DVD Amateur

Hi, as I said I'm a bit of an amateur in this sorta stuff:
I'm looking into 'maybe' getting some sort of screen and DVD player for my car. I'm not sure wether I want one that comes out of the Head-Unit or one mounted on the dash. I know that one for the dash will mean I need a new headunit with output and wiring etc...
Basically I'm after some decent options and pricing...

Also what sort of security precautions can you get with a screen that comes out of the dash? Because obvously I can't take the face off when I leave the car...

i can take the front off mine mate, its a 7inch fully motorised touch screen from clarion, top draw!

i got a tv,dvd,sat nav radio mp3 touch screen all in one that comes out of the head unit for wait for it .................................................. .......... .....£50 nothing wrong with it crackin piece of kit its the way forward imo

i got a dvd headunit, 7" screen a big inverter thing to wire them all i dunno, vibe 6x9s, n 2 vibe subs

gonna sell em all for a few quid.
