Cutting compound.

Hi all.


Whats the best cutting compound?Need to remove some scratches from a new tailgate i`ve just bought.I tried some of that Halfrauds stuff in a yellow tube didn`t do anything at all.:y:

All depends on how bad the scratch is tbh.

I always user menzerna compounds as they give imo fantastic results......especially when used with a machine polisher.

i'v had great results with megs yellow polshing pad and 203s get rid of most things and great shine.

no it's menzerna 203 to let you know. could try something like megs swirl x not as much cut as 203 and no where near as much shine but it get's there in the end. that can be used by hand and should give results

There are others out there, Scholls 17 which is amazing, Meguiars 205 and 105 which is outstanding, 3M range is very good also.....as stated all depends on the scratch.

i'v had good results with megs ulitmate compund but nothing compared to menzerna
