what brake setup?

cant get hold of kinsella who did the 266mm setup for the saxo.

what other setups would be as good?

you could probably source all the bits for a diy 266mm conversion yourself, then paint the calipers and get braided brake lines with the leftover money. or if you can get hold of a xsara vts/pug 306 gti-6/206 gti 180 283mm set-up, although they don't go straight on. smileys/smiley4.gif

GMC do a 283mm Conversion, but dont come with calipers smileys/sad.gif an its £225..! smileys/sad.gif

it will be discs and adapters so the calipers they sell will be four pots. i can get plain 283mm discs and adapters using the same calipers for £115, or grooved for extra. the gti 180 set up i think is 4 hundred and something.(new)

just go scrappy's.... find a smacked 306 gti-6 take that set up. 280 mm discs. Take grinder and take lip of shocky(theres a guide i think).

cant get hold of any 206gti or 306gti6 calipers and my front brakes need doing asap

so im thinking of just going for a standard sized set for now, are brembo any good? theres a set for the front with discs and pads which are grooved on motorsport world going for £220 plus postage!?

or theres tarox black dimaond and red dot?

save your money and fit standards just now, you'll be hard pushed to notice any difference at all by only upgrading to drilled/grooved discs and uprating the pads. start saving to buy uprated calipers eg 306 gti-6 etc and you'll notice a difference smileys/smiley4.gif
