Hi.
I got caught in a bus lane 13 days ago.
I'm really just wondering if any of you know how many days it's likely to be until I recieve the fine.
I know with a speed camera there's a maximum time period of 2 weeks for them to send you the fine; if havent recieved it by then nothing will happen.
Do any of you know if this applies to my situation?
Thanks.
Translated to english for you buddy :p
No need to thank me. My pleasure.

I did not receive the Notice of Intended Prosecution within 14 days. Can the Police still proceed?
If you are not stopped at the scene of the incident, the obligation upon the Police is to serve a Notice of Intended Prosecution on the registered keeper of the vehicle within 14 days. The Notice has to be sent to arrive within that period of time. If it is not received, but the Police can prove that it was sent and should have arrived, they may still be able to proceed. If you are uncertain whether a Notice is valid, you should seek advice before replying.
Just because you haven't recieved it, doesn't mean you can't still be prosecuted.

As in, if it got lost or took more than 14 days to arrive, you'll still get done.
Give it 3 weeks, if you haven't got it by then, I'd say you're alright.

What do you mean TipTopTom by I may not get prosecuted even if a receive a fine?
It is unlikely the the police would take matter further. So the odds are you would not end up in court. That is unless you make it a habit of driving in bus lanes or other such offences.

Proper English, then you spelt recieve Wrong :P Its ' Receive ' ' I ' before ' E ' except after ' C ', haha. Just to be extra accurate.
However i do agree, the initial thread sentence needed translating lol.

If you went in the bus lane it's £30 fine, deal with it, you shouldn't of been in there in the first place....
The people that come on here and say "have i been caught because it flashed" or "how long before i can not panic about getting a ticket"
