Pretty sure a VIC check isn't required for cat d's :S
Anyway if you go here http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/BuyingAndSellingAVehicle/AdviceOnBuyingAndSellingAVehicle/DG_4022107 you can do a vehicle enquiry to see if it has a vic marker on it.
If it does on that page it tells you how to book a appointment and the fees and
if it doesn't you don't need to bother with it.

Aslong as its still got tax and mot, and its roadworthy (Doesn't matter about dents etc aslong as there's no sharp edges).
If thats the case then yeah :y:

1 of my friends deals with a lot of cat D's and before you get it back on the road you have to have a brand new mot done onit then you are fine
