AXO Saxo - The rebuild

ok, everyone will know the car as the AXO saxo - that fast as f**k car that makes the Bruce Taxi's evo look slow:afro:

well.... right now - its not doing much evo beating as you can see

Since George (wannadoo12) broke the car up - ive taken it on to rebuild it, spec wont be nowhere near as awesome with the 254bhp engine it was running (he still has that and suspension etc) but im hoping it wont take long to get it back rolling and running again, progress wont be supremely fast but it wont be slow either.

So far ive managed to get -

J4 engine with Piper 285 cams (will create a JP4 hybrid once i find an engine)
C2 1.1 gearbox
Front struts
Hi-Spec calipers

i managed to get the car with the polycarb windows, fibreglass tailgate and bonnet, and a few other pieces with the car.

Power wise im looking at around 170-180 N/A from the car.

will keep up to date with this as more things happen.

geordie broke it as he would get more money in parts. and he also has a new project which consists of an evo 6 with nearly 400bhp at the wheels :)

George has an Evo 6 GSR he picked up at a major bargain - its running 380bhp now and he's going to have some fun in that, although dont count him out the french stuff just yet - he still has the AXO engine and a lot of parts - you never know is all im saying:P

Struts are on their way from Ryan @ AXOC. should have them shortly and get the front end rolling so i can move it about with a jack on the rear for now.

struts have arrived, will be on tomorrow and the car rolling on steels hopefully at the front end, then i can get the car turned round and a rear axle sourced and fitted then the car can go for more rollcage fabrication
