Where I work we have 3 privet parking bays horizontal to the main road. As there quite long we can fit 4 cars on there if the last one parks across the others. It has big signs saying it's privet though we never complain if people use it when where not as there is not much parking about.

Today when I got to work at 9am there was already 3 cars in the bays so I did the usual of parking across the bays. As they are our bays this is fine and perfectly legal. About 11am a women walks in asking if the red cars was any ones, so I said yes its my car. She asked me if I could move it so she could get out. I said yes no problem grabbed my keys and went outside. At this point she started moaning saying how inconsiderate I was for blocking her in. I looked at the massive private parking signs but though better of it so got in my car and moved forward a few feet so she could pull out. I then reversed back in to the bay she had been in.

At this point a white car pulls in front of me and the window goes down. I get out my car think the guy is lost or something and wanting direction. But all I get is abuse hurled at me as soon as I step out of the car. He goes I have been @@@@ waiting for that spot you @@@@ and you have stolen it. I said what are you talking about my car has been parked outside here since 9. All I hear is more swearing and him demanding that I move. So go this is private land your not even allowed to park here. I get some more abuse off him then he gives up and moves on.

The day gets better though. This guys comes quite pleasant saying I got these tyres off you a few weeks ago and one has already got bleb in it. I asked if I could see it and we go outside. However upon looking at it the first thing I notice that it does look rather warn and then a realise it is a brand we don't even sell. Hmmm. I asked if he is positive he got them from use as I know we don't even sell them. He then just looses is and start screaming at me and then storms off.

A rather more amusing day then usual granted but I really don't get why people act like that.

I would have loved to though its guaranteed people like that would be the first to call the police. I look in to the legality of wheel clamping. Could be a nice little earner :p

Wheel clampers? I'd love to nut them all in 1 night.

Even though its a nice earner, just think of the abuse you will get, think, are you really that wedge that you can handle yourself when a bunch of people kick off?
