Tow strap or not ?

Thinking of putting a tow strap on, what you think of them personally I think they look pretty good breaks up the bumper abit. Opinions ?

Got a baby blue one on my White vtr,trimmed two slits in the side of the hole in the bumper,now sticks out level and not twisted or scrunched up

You can buy the bracket from Citroen to use the screw in towing eye. The old hoop simply needs griding off, new bracket welding on (very easy to line up etc) and then paint/treat welds etc

The part number for the bracket is:

7213 X5 which is £9.40 inclusive of VAT. The description on service box is (believe it or not) called a "ring extension"

The part number for the standard towing eye if anyone wants it is:

7213 T0 £20.64 inclusive of VAT. Description "tow ring"

ive got a black trs tow strap and after a week on the car it has faded to whit at the botton and now looks terrible!!!!!!!!

Got me a pink one for my dark blue vtr, I've read that you can fit them with a wheel bolt but the threads seem different to me so can't fit it yet,
anyone no the size bolt needed?
