Is this the new golden speed or something?

I've followed countless cars this week and no matter what speed limit they are in, they do 40mph.

Old people thinking theyre god's gift on the road for doing 40mph in a national speed limit zone, then they continue to do 40mph in a 30 zone.

Is it just me? I overtook somebody today doing 40mph on a single carriageway, national speed limit. Then I got into the 30 zone, so slowed down to 30mph, they decided to sit on my rear bumper then flash me after 200 yards. I politely stuck my middle finger up at them.

Its old people more often than not... Was it part of the driving test in 1937? To drive at a constant 40mph everywhere?

I blame the "hit me at 30 i'll live, hit me at 40 i'll die" advertisements on tv, everyone in england is pissed off and if they hit someone they actually want them to die? ... just a possible theory.

Dont you get me fucking started on old people driving!
I was on my way to leeds on the motorway the other day and there was a guy in his 60's maybe? in the outside lane doing 45 ish, he wouldnt move to one of the inside lanes and i would of undertook him but there was a copper a few cars behind me....

Must be been behind him for about a minute holding up all the traffic....
then had enough so started to flash him and beep him to get the fucker out of the way, after a couple of mins he moved finally into another lane and i drove past he stuck his fingers up!

So i just gave him the real slow wanker sign and went politely on my way.

I hate old drivers especially around here where its near enough all single carriageway. However there is one thing I hate even more and that is the morons that think they need to slow down to below 30mph to go through a speed camera on a nation speed limit road.

Its so bloody annoying as I go through them every weekday for college and to make it worse the cameras haven't worked for ages, they had a mobile speed camera parked next to it them the other week.

And one last thing that I really hate . . . Tractors on the single carriageway A roads. The most ignorant ones will drive for a good 10 mins before pulling in and getting out of the way. :wall:

The theory is all these people that do 40mps are really cocks that dont give a dam about other people and drive flat out everywhere. It is just they have ragged there car that much that they have had it and can only do 40mph.

That or there cocks that would drive there car flat out everywhere apart for the fact there wimps and get frighted when they get to 40mph.
