If you've not had anything go off during a shunt it may well be a bad connection on the Seatbelt Pretensioners Connectors (under front seats). I believe the light also includes these?

yeah thats right matey,
like blue_devil said check your seatbelt pretensioners underneath your seats, if they have unclipped that would be the reason for your light flashing,.

Look along the car with the door closed. If the lines don't match up adjust the slam latch in the "B" Pillar. If the lines do match up (with door closed) but the door drops when opened. With door open (get ya dad to do this bit) lift the bottom of the door to lever the whole thing up not too much mind! That's what i had to do to when i fitted a new door and now it fits perfect!smileys/smiley17.gif

There is a guide (http://www.sax-p.com/faq/show-article.asp?artid=83) on sax-p FAQ's..
If you unscrew the cover beneath your stearing wheel the airbag connection (orange wire) is under there and it often becomes loose - check that is a decent connection.
Also check in your fusebox (near front passenger side footwell) as the orange wires connect there - check they have a good connection..
Also unclip the orange cables from the seat belt pretensioners and insure they have a good connection..
If your interior has been changed you may also have another connector under the seats and they should also be checked..
It takes a pretty large impact for the seat belt pretensioners to go off... and i would have thought if you have had a diagnostics test that a blown pretensioner would show up... so it is more than likely just a loose connection...
Happy hunting - hope that helps you a bit!

hi all i found out that the plug that is under the front seats is a common fault and causes the air bag light to come on and to fix it is to remove the plug and re-connect the wire with out a plug and i got that from a citroen tech that works next door to me
