Can any one recommed a product for polishing a scratch out of my dash/glove box.
I cant wet and dry paper it as it is textured.
The only thing I can see on cyc would be Meguiars Plastx or Z14 plastic magic.
I dont know it these would take the texture off the surface though :panic:

I dont think you can do anything about it mate, If you try like you say your going to take the texture off as surely it will strip it down to the scratches level if that makes sense?

Halfords do a black bumper filler, you could try that, can't guarantee results though, not done it myself, just a suggestion

depending on how deep the scratch is mask the area up and rub the scratch down with 800 wet and dry. if it needs filling then fill it with filler.
when its all smooth mask the dash up for spraying. spray the area with the medium upol plas+ aerosol and feather the edges out with a flicking motion.
will look cock on as the paint is a spot on match for the saxo dash if you leave it for a week then give it a good dressing with some trim dress up you will never notice the difference.

theres small companies which specialise in this sort of stuff, it cost my work mate some thing like 30 quid to fill in and spray 4 holes in his dash and you wouldnt no there were holes there! worth a phone call to get a quote!
