Well the other day I was running the car on the drive.. (it's off the road) and it ran out of petrol.. Couple of days later. (today) I put 11 quid in it. And it won't start. It turns over quite quickly just won't start. I don't get why as it was running perfect before it ran out

When you run out of fuel it takes a while for the fuel to come through the fuel pipe, before it starts.Or you`ve pumped up some crap from the tank and its blocked the fuel system.

Ah nice, what's the best way to check this? Just let it turn over for a while?

i have the same problem. my car run out of petrol, on my drive and now it wont start. ts not fuel pump, nothing blocked or anything. i tried almost everything, had to take it to Citroen as I couldnt find the fault they told me it was a relay thats done (ill get the part number). might not be the same for yours but uve had the exact thing my car has. my car is still a Citroen
