Picked up my mk1 vtr yesterday drove 50 miles fine turned the car on and off about 5 or 6 times in the first 10 odd miles then drove the other 40 stopped and it refuses to start again, I reckon it could be the coilpack after doing a search but just wondering if anyone else has had the problem before, new to citroens :)

If theres no spark also try swapping the crank sensor.(front of gearbox)

a earth point may have come loose when driving, as it cut out, check all connections in engine bay to see if there any loose wires, is the starter turning over? or just nothing wen you turn key? if so then loose connection/ crank sensor (more like connection) if nothing then i'd say immoboliser fault
